Did anybody catch "Bitchin' Rides", with Blue Suede Shoes Invicta?

Some of the cars on car-TV shows are ridiculous, others are meticulously stock... The 1959 Buick Invicta, dubbed “Blue Suede Soes” by Kindig-it Design is a great looking car. And it wasn’t rushed for a TV schedule, it reportedly took a year to complete.

Smoothed in the right ways, decorated well, and the engine bay almost doesn’t need a hood to cover it.

I am not one to really go for 50s and early-60s cars in general, but that is one sharp car, regardless of age or era.

I can only imagine what they could do with a 66-67 Riviera.

They also fully restored a Futureliner, and it was awesome.

One of my favorite Buicks, right there. I’d prefer it stock, maybe dropped on stock steelies, but this example doesn’t rip your head off, which is nice.

I remember seeing that one... and I think it went up for auction shortly afterward, as I don’t think there are many of those, much less in prime condition.

59 Buicks are amazing. Not feeling the wheels, but I like it besides that.

I kinda like the wheels. They look cool, and somewhat more delicate than they are, and the whitewall is the rim of the wheel, not the tire, with the illusion of the spokes over-lapping the whitewall. It does mean fairly low-profile tires, though... I hope it has air-ride to soften the ride quality, in leu of tire sidewall.

Does anyone know the name of the paint?

I thought the interior had a little too much purple on the doors and other trim, but it’s definitely a Bitchin’ Ride. I don’t think they rush their high dollar builds since on the Beyond shows they’ll indicate how far along the build is by the number of days. “Day 275", and such.

Does any one know where I can find the paint? I looked up blue suede shoe paint but it looks lighter than the one they used. I want to paint my motorcycle that color. I love the chameleon look of black and blue
